Gracelyn Woods is the Chief Operating Officer and co-owner of Bellweather, a progressive, strategy-led creative agency exclusively owned and operated by women and people of color. She has been instrumental in the agency’s significant expansion, implementing new growth strategies, orchestrating high-level logistics across multiple departments, and creating roles to accommodate a client roster that now includes Everytown for Gun Safety, MetroPlusHealth, and NYCVotes.
As COO, Gracelyn has led the charge in modernizing professional wellness policies by introducing educational development opportunities and flexible childcare options that reflect her needs as a working parent. With 15+ years of previous experience directing and producing large-scale events for clients such as Oprah, Lady Gaga, and Sundance Film Festival, Gracelyn is adept at managing complex negotiations like government contracts and union agreements. Her meticulous handling of multi-million-dollar budgets and diverse strategies has translated to smooth operations and high client satisfaction at Bellweather.
Gracelyn lives with her partner and daughter in the artistic community of Beacon, New York located just 60 miles north of Manhattan. Actively involved in her neighborhood, she volunteers regularly and enjoys distributing homegrown produce from her garden to local food banks. Gracelyn eagerly embraces travel opportunities, be it family vacations to Mexico, visits to her former home of Seattle, or quick day trips to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden with her nature-loving daughter, Hazel.
