May 1, 2024 at 7:00 PMThe community of people ConnectHV has brought together is so unlike any other “networking” event I've ever experienced. One minute you're connecting with film producers, then you're talking to UX designers, data analysts, textile artists, and everything in between.
I've connected with countless likeminded creative individuals, which has led to new business opportunities, collaborations, and friendships that would have never been possible without this platform.
The first ConnectHV event was held in May 2024, after Barnfox reached out to offer a space for the community to gather.
Since then, we've met monthly in various venues around the Hudson Valley — Kingston, New Paltz, Beacon, Hudson, and more. We've held intimate gatherings and big parties, all with a casual vibe and a focus on connecting interesting people.
One of the unifying features of ConnectHV events is that they don't feel like "networking" events. Nobody's selling anything, and nobody's trying to get you to sign up for a membership or buy a product. We're just a group of Hudson Valley creatives, professionals, and enthusiasts who want to spend time with other interesting, passionate people in the area.
In other words: if you're allergic to networking events, these are the events for you.
